Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the hire of bespoke picnic tables and décor ("Hire Items") from Little Luxe Picnics ("the Company"). By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

 

1. Booking and Payment

 

1.1 A non-refundable deposit of £30 is required to secure your booking.

1.2 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours days before the event date.

1.3 Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of the deposit.

 

You agree to pay Us the Remainder Payable atleast 48 hours in advance of the Delivery Time. If you fail to make prompt payment of the Remainder Payable, We reserve the right to cancel Your booking and will retain the initial Deposit.

2. Cancellation Policy

 

2.1 Cancellations must be made in writing via email.

2.2 Refunds are processed according to our Refund Policy, as follows:

 

21+ days before event: Full refund minus deposit

 

14–20 days before event: 50% refund minus deposit

 

Less than 14 days: No refund

 

3. Delivery, Setup, and Collection

 

3.1 The Company will deliver, set up, and collect all Hire Items at the agreed times and location.

3.2 The hirer must ensure the site is accessible and suitable for delivery and setup.

3.3 Additional charges may apply for difficult access, waiting time, or changes to the agreed schedule.

 

4. Responsibility and Care of Hire Items

 

4.1 The hirer is responsible for the care and security of all Hire Items during the hire period.

4.2 Hire Items must not be moved, altered, or used for purposes other than agreed.

4.3 Any damage, loss, or theft of Hire Items will result in repair or replacement charges.

 

5. Liability

 

5.1 The Company accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage caused by misuse or improper handling of Hire Items.

5.2 The Company is not liable for delays or failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond its control (force majeure).

 

6. Weather Conditions

 

6.1 It is the hirer’s responsibility to provide adequate cover or contingency for outdoor events.

6.2 The Company reserves the right to decline setup in unsafe or unsuitable conditions.

 

7. Photos and Marketing

 

7.1 The Company may take photographs of the setup for marketing purposes, unless the hirer explicitly requests otherwise in writing.

 

8. Governing Law

 

8.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scots Law.
